The fascia is the board the guttering fixes to, and the soffit closes in the underside of the overhang. On older homes these are timber, and once they begin to rot they let damp and pests into the roof space and leave the guttering with nothing solid to hang from.
We strip the old timber, check the rafter ends behind it, and fit new uPVC fascias, soffits and bargeboards with ventilation built in so the roof space still breathes. In white, black, grey or a woodgrain finish, they smarten up the roofline and never need repainting.

What is the difference between capping and full replacement?
Capping covers sound existing timber with uPVC. It costs less, but only makes sense where the timber behind is dry and solid. Where it has rotted, full replacement is the right job.
Do soffits need ventilation?
Yes. Ventilated soffits let the roof space breathe and help prevent condensation and rot. We build the ventilation in as standard.
What are bargeboards?
They are the boards that run up the sloped gable edge of a roof. We renew them in uPVC along with the fascias and soffits.
Can you match them to my windows?
Yes. uPVC comes in white, black, grey, brown and woodgrain finishes, so we can match or complement your windows and doors.
How is the price worked out?
The length of roofline, whether it is capped or fully replaced, the height and access, and whether guttering is renewed at the same time all affect it. We quote in writing before booking.
